Friendly reminder that our January pack hike is scheduled for this Sunday, January 29^th at 1pm in Rock Creek Park.  We will meet near the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium and hike a 3 mile loop down to Boulder Bridge and back. It is looking like a warm day for late January.

Rock Creek Park – Boulder Bridge Loop

 

The parking lot is a large loop near the Rock Creek Park Nature Center and Planetarium.  At the Nature Center end of this loop there are a number of picnic tables.  This is where we will meet. If you have any trouble finding us, please contact Sean Randol at 202-258-3638.

Reminder: Some sections of Beach Drive are closed to vehicles: https://www.nps.gov/rocr/learn/news/upper-beach-drive-will-remain-closed-to-vehicles-year-round.htm.

 

Dogs are allowed on the trail.

 

If your scout is unable to join us on the Pack hike and would like to earn the hiking miles, please have them complete the same hike on your own schedule and let us know within 30 days.
