• April Pack Hike (rescheduled)

      It looks like the weather will not cooperate today.  We are postponing the April pack hike scheduled for today until next Sunday, May 7 at 2pm.  Please remember that Scouts can complete this hike on their own to earn hiking miles if they are not available next Sunday.
       

      Our April pack hike is scheduled for Sunday, April 30th at 2pm at Greenbelt Park.  We will meet at the Sweetgum parking area for an easy 3 mile hike along the perimeter trail to the Dogwood Loop.  We hope to see lots of colorful trees along the way.

      Greenbelt Park/Dogwood Loop

       

      Park at the Sweetgum picnic/parking area.  We will meet around the picnic tables on the north end of this loop.

      Dogs are allowed on the trail.

       

      If your scout is unable to join us on the Pack hike and would like to earn the hiking miles, please have them complete the same hike on your own schedule and let us know within 30 days.

      Stay on the path
      Do not run, be careful with leaves on the ground
      Wear appropriate footwear and be prepared for any weather
      Bring water and a snack
